OPEN BENCHMARK 67 POLYTRACK 1100M


As the start was effected, LADY IFFRAAJ (App CK Ng), which was fractious in
the barrier, reared losing considerable ground. LADY IFFRAAJ will be
required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

ELITE STAR (M Nunes) was slow into stride.

RAINBOW ROYAL (K AIsisuhairi) jumped inwards at the start bumping
MYSTIC MASTER (J Moreira) in onto LIGHTNING FAST (App CC Wong).

SKY ELEVEN (S Anandan) was crowded on jumping between THE COSMOS
(App R Zawari), which jumped inwards and FINE CHOICE (R Shafiq), which
jumped outwards.

THE COSMOS and LADY IFFRAAJ both raced wide throughout.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ELITE STAR which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

FRIDAY, 14 OCTOBER 2016:

RACE 3 [TF1290]

On Friday, 18 November 2016, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for CELERITAS (N Juglall) having to check when racing to the inside
of RAINBOW ROYAL (K AIsisuhairi) approaching the 800m. It was
established that approaching the 800m, CELERITAS was eased when
momentarily crowded by RAINBOW ROYAL, which when laying inwards,
shifted inwards and away from SATELLITE BOY (App CC Wong). In the
circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no
further action was taken. However, Jockey AIsisuhairi was warned and
advised that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

On Friday, 18 November 2016, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for BLACK SWAN (K AIsisuhairi) having to check when racing
between SPUR ME ON (V Duric) and GOLD POWER (CW Brown) approaching
the 300m. It was established that approaching the 300m, BLACK SWAN
steadied when momentarily crowded between GOLD POWER, which shifted
out slightly and SPUR ME ON, which laid inwards under pressure. In the
circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no
further action was taken. However, Jockey Duric was warned and advised
that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.
