STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 [TF1447]
LANTAU ISLAND STAKES
RESTRICTED MAIDEN LC (A) 1200M
WEIGHT FOR AGE
(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

After arriving at the barrier, ACE KING (A Da Silva) had its saddle
readjusted.

SPECIAL RAIN (S John) was slow to begin.

MILITARY MIGHT (N Juglall), which was slow into stride after jumping away
awkwardly, was inconvenienced shortly after the start, when SUPER GENIUS
(M Kellady) was carried outwards by ACE KING, which shifted outwards.

ONE KINABALU (J Powell) and SIAM GEMSTONE (CW Brown) both jumped
away awkwardly.

MILITARY MIGHT raced greenly in the middle stages.

Approaching the 200m, DAYFLIRT (D Beasley) was bumped and carried
inwards when TANNHAUSER (V Duric) shifted inwards under pressure.

Near the 200m, SIR ISAAC (M Rodd) shifted inwards obliging its rider to stop
riding and straighten his mount. SIR ISAAC again had a tendency to lay
inwards over the final 100m.

The Farrier reported that ELITE EMPEROR (S Anandan) returned having cast
its near-fore plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on PERFECT
COMMANDO (J Moreira) which revealed that the horse returned not striding
out freely.
