Due to a delay in the start time of Race 10, this race was put back five
minutes and rescheduled to start at 1805Hrs.

BEAT TO QUARTERS (S Sam) and PETITE VICTOIRE (App T See) bumped on
jumping.

BALKAN CHALLENGER (J Powell) and SUPER JOY (K AIsisuhairi) bumped on
jumping.

TOP NOTE (TH Koh) jumped awkwardly inwards making heavy contact with
TURQUOISE SON (App CC Wong), which in turn made contact with FLYING
SHADOW (A Munro), which jumped awkwardly outwards.

Shortly after the start, LETS TALK NOW (M Rodd) which was laying inwards,
bumped TOP NOTE in onto TURQUOISE SON, which in turn made contact
with FLYING SHADOW.

Approaching the 900m, KENNEDY (App K Toh) steadied when racing to the
inside of JOE, which had been carried inwards by FLYING SHADOW, which
shifted inwards abruptly after being hampered by TOP NOTE, which shifted in
and away from GOLDEN ROSEWOOD (I Azhar).

RACE 2 [TF1251]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Sunday, 23 October 2016, Jockey R
Shafiq, the rider of GREAT WARRIOR, pleaded guilty to a charge under MRA
Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding GREAT WARRIOR in Race 2 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 07 October 2016, near the 1300m,
he allowed his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of MONEY
KING (App T See), thereby carrying that gelding inwards resulting in DANNY
(M Nunes) being crowded for room and having to be checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea,
the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from Shafiq
that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday,
28 October 2016 and Sunday, 30 October 2016. The Stewards determined
to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the
commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 31
October 2016 until Sunday, 06 November 2016 both dates inclusive (two
Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

SUNDAY, 09 OCTOBER 2016:

RACE 6 [TF1282]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Sunday, 23 October 2016, Jockey I
Saifudin, the rider of ARIEL, was found guilty to a charge under MRA Rule
44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding ARIEL in Race 6 at the Singapore Turf Club
Meeting on Sunday, 09 October 2016, in that near the 300m, he allowed his
mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of CREAMY CUSTARD (J
Powell), resulting in that gelding having to be checked. When deciding on
penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of
interference and carelessness and submissions from Saifudin that he has
been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 28 October
2016 and Sunday, 30 October 2016. The Stewards determined to suspend
his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the
commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 31
October 2016 until Sunday, 06 November 2016 both dates inclusive (two
Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
