Due to the abandonment of the Penang Race Meeting and the objection in
Race 9, this race was put back ten minutes and rescheduled to start at

THUNDER CAT (App T See) which began awkwardly, bumped with LIMS
SAMURAI (D Beasley). THUNDER CAT was then severely crowded between
MIGHTY CONQUEROR (I Azhar), which was bumped outwards by WHITE
COFFEE (O Chavez) and LIMS SAMURAI, which shifted inwards.
MIGHTY CONQUEROR raced keenly in the early stages.
Near the 550m, THUNDER CAT got its head up when being restrained off the
heels of GENIUS.
Near the 450m, HEAVENLY HAND (A Munro) which was racing tightly on the
outside of GENIUS, shifted inwards slightly and made solid contact with
GENIUS. As a result, HEAVENLY HAND was turned inwards and crowded
GENIUS, which had to be checked. THUNDER CAT which was following was
checked in consequence. When being checked, THUNDER CAT bumped SUN
SEEKER. As a result App T See, the rider of THUNDER CAT, became
unbalanced. This resulted in the saddle of THUNDER CAT, shifting to the off-
side resulting in its rider being placed at a distinctive disadvantage. Due to
this incident, App T See eased the gelding out of the race in the
For a number of strides approaching the 200m, HEAVENLY HAND and AHMAR
(R Shafiq) raced tightly and brushed on a number of occasions.

Trainer J OHara was fined a sum of S$1,000 under MRA Regulation 20.6 for
failing to ensure that the Vaccinations were current for CHARLIE MISSILE
(C354) as required under MRA Regulation 20.1.
