HELLO MICHELLE (A Munro) jumped awkwardly inwards at the start and
bumped BLUE DIAMOND (D Beasley).

CELERITAS (N Juglall) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with
RED ANT (S John).

Shortly after the start, NOVA STAR (M Zaki) had to be eased to avoid the
heels of UNSURPASSED (App CK Ng), which shifted inwards abruptly.

After passing the 900m, MAIDANZ BEAUTY (V Duric) had to be steadied to
avoid the heels of CELERITAS, which was taken in slightly by RAINBOW
ROYAL (K AIsisuhairi).

Approaching the 800m, CELERITAS checked when racing to the inside of
RAINBOW ROYAL. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be

Near the 600m, CELERITAS was steadied to avoid the heels of LEADERSHIP
(S Anandan), which rolled inwards slightly. MAIDANZ BEAUTY which was

Jockey G Boss, when questioned regarding the run of MARINE TREASURE,
reported that the gelding, travelled well in the early stages, however when
placed under pressure near the 600m, failed to respond to his riding and
tired noticeably in the homestraight. His explanation is noted. A subsequent
veterinary examination was requested on MARINE TREASURE which revealed
that the gelding returned not striding out freely.
