PANASONIC SOLUTIONS STAKES
OPEN BENCHMARK 89 2000M

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 4, this race was put back five minutes
and rescheduled to start at 1455Hrs.

CHEETAH ON FIRE (A Munro) which was slow into stride, was inconvenienced
shortly after the start by WINNING CAUSE (N Juglall), which shifted
outwards.

Approaching the 1200m, ARHAT (D David) which was racing keenly, shifted
inwards slightly and in so doing, clipped the heels of BAHANA (App I Amirul),
which shifted outwards slightly. ARHAT then shifted outwards and
inconvenienced WINNING CAUSE, which was following. WINNING CAUSE was
then obliged to race wide.

Between the 1000m and the 800m, BOURBON GOLDMAN (M Rodd) and
WINNING CAUSE raced tightly and brushed on a couple of occasions.

BAHANA was held up for clear running between the 500m until shortly after
passing the 400m.

ARHAT had a tendency to lay inwards under pressure from the 400m.

Shortly after passing the 400m, ROCKFAST (M Nunes) was held up for clear
running.

Jockey Nunes reported that ROCKFAST was not striding out freely. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
