ALWAYS CERTAIN 2010 STAKES
CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1100M

Acting on veterinary advice that DRAGON INFINITY (D Beasley) was found to
be lame off-fore, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1508Hrs.
In terms of MRA Regulation 24.2, it must be presented to an Official
Veterinary Surgeon prior to being declared to race again.

NOVA MASTER (R Shafiq) was slow to begin.

MAGIC PAINT (S Anandan), which was restless in the barrier, began
awkwardly.

RAINBOW STAR (App K Toh) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped
SKYHAWK (M Zaki) in onto FLYING NEKO (CW Brown).

DYNASTY KNIGHT (App T See) jumped away awkwardly.

Near the 700m, GOOD MISSION (App N Alfian) eased to avoid the heels of
FLYING NEKO, which rolled inwards slightly.

Near the 400m, App Alfian, the rider of GOOD MISSION, dropped his off-side
rein which he regained shortly thereafter.

Passing the 400m, SACRED CROWN (M Rodd), which was improving, had to
be steadied off the heels of BUZET (App CC Wong).

Near the 100m, FLYING NEKO checked when racing to the inside of MAGIC
PAINT. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

The Farrier reported that FLYING NEKO returned having cast its near-fore
plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on NOVA MASTER which
revealed that the horse returned lame off-fore and having bled. In terms of
MRA Rule 92(3), it will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main
training tracks of any racecourse for a period of two months, and may not
start in any race for a period of three months, and then only after having
satisfactorily passed a bleeders test.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on FLYING NEKO which
revealed that the horse returned as a roarer. The Veterinary Surgeon also
advised that FLYING NEKO had previously undergone corrective surgery for
this condition.
