EN CIVIL (A Da Silva) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped LIMS
ACTION (D Beasley).

NATION THEATRE (App Y Salim) jumped awkwardly inwards at the start
inconveniencing REALLY CAPABLE (App I Amirul).

REALLY CAPABLE raced wide throughout.

Near the 700m, LIMS ACTION made contact with BILLY MOJO (B Vorster)
after being bumped inwards by REALLY CAPABLE.

Approaching the turn into the straight, NATION THEATRE was carried wider
when KNIGHT CHEN BAY (M Rodd) was bumped outwards by ASPREY (R
Shafiq), which was attempting to improve to the outside of LIMS ACTION.

EN CIVIL was held up for clear running in the early part of the straight.

Near the 250m, REALLY CAPABLE had to be momentarily steadied off the
heels of EN CIVIL.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on ASPREY, LIMS
ACTION and KNIGHT CHEN BAY which revealed no apparent abnormality.


GENERAL

INQUIRY INTO AN INCIDENT FOLLOWING THE RUNNING OF RACE 4 RUN
AT THE SINGAPORE TURF CLUB MEETING ON SUNDAY, 17 JULY 2016

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Tuesday, 30 August 2016, Jockey O
Placais, the rider of AMISTAD, pleaded guilty to a charge of misconduct
under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he made an inappropriate gesture whilst
returning to scale following the running of Race 4 run at the Singapore Turf
Club on Sunday, 17 July 2016. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took
into account his record, guilty plea and the nature of the charge. Jockey
Placais was fined a sum of S$2,000 and advised of his Right of Appeal.

SUNDAY, 28 AUGUST 2016:

RACE 6 [TF1102]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Friday, 02 September 2016, App WS Chan,
the rider of FOLLOW THE KING, in the presence of his Masters B Trainer, Mr
Lawrence Khoo, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule
44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding FOLLOW THE KING in Race 6 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 28 August 2016, near the 1000m,
he allowed his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear, thereby
resulting in GOLDEN ROSEWOOD (S Sam) and DDON (I Saifudin) both
having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into
account his record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and
carelessness. App Chan was suspended from riding in races with effect from
Monday, 05 September 2016 until Friday, 16 September 2016 (two
Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
suspension for careless riding from Monday, 29 August 2016 until Sunday, 04
September 2016 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days).


RACE 9 [TF1105]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Friday, 02 September 2016, App Y Salim,
the rider of GOAL KEEPER, in the presence of his Master, Trainer D Kok,
pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in
that whilst riding GOAL KEEPER in Race 9 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting
on Sunday, 28 August 2016, near the 300m, he allowed his mount to shift
inwards, when insufficiently clear, thereby resulting in SUPER WINNER (A Da
Silva) having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took
into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and
carelessness and submissions from App Salim that he has been engaged to
ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 02 September 2016 and
Sunday, 04 September 2016. The Stewards determined to suspend his
licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement
of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 05 September 2016
until Friday, 16 September 2016 (two Singapore Race Days). He was
advised of his Right of Appeal.


REPORT FROM THE HEAD VETERINARY SURGEON ON WEDNESDAY,
31 AUGUST 2016 THAT MR EXCHEQUER (C9) FROM TRAINER S
BAERTSCHIGERS STABLES HAD NOT BEEN VACCINATED AS
REQUIRED IN TERMS OF MRA REGULATION 20.1

Trainer S Baertschiger was fined a sum of S$1,000 under MRA Regulation
20.6 by failing to ensure that the Vaccinations were current for MR
EXCHEQUER (C9) as required under MRA Regulation 20.1.
