STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 5 [TF0909]
GRADUATION SC (D) 1200M

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 4, this race was put back five
minutes and rescheduled to start at 1455Hrs.

STAR GENIUS (M Nunes) and ASTAIRE (I Saifudin) both began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, HEAVENLY HAND (K Fujii) shifted outwards and
bumped ALIBI (V Duric) out onto the hindquarters of ASTAIRE.

Approximately 50m after the start, ALIBI shifted inwards and made contact
with HEAVENLY HAND. ALIBI and HEAVENLY HAND then both had to be
eased when crowded for room between STAR GENIUS, which was carried
outwards slightly by CONILAD (G Boss) and ASTAIRE, which shifted inwards
slightly.

Near the 700m, CONILAD, which was racing keenly, steadied outwards after
becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of MOONRAKER (App CC Wong).

STAR GENIUS was held up for clear running from the 600m until shortly after
passing the 400m.

Passing the 500m, CONILAD laid outwards for a short distance.

Near the 450m, HEAVENLY HAND shifted outwards and bumped the
hindquarters of ALIBI, resulting in that colt being turned inwards and
becoming unbalanced.

Near the 100m, CONILAD was eased when momentarily crowded between
STAR GENIUS, which rolled outwards and ALIBI, which shifted inwards under
pressure.
