RACE 6 [TF0750]
KRANJI STAKES D POLYTRACK 1100M
DIVISION 1

LUCKY BOY (K AIsisuhairi) was slow to begin.

HIKO YUNIKON (A Munro) jumped inwards at the start and made contact
with the hindquarters of IMPERIAL BOY (App CC Wong).

Near the 900m, SAVAGE STORM (N Juglall) had to be steadied when crowded
for room between SMOOTHLY (G Boss) and YOU DA ONE (CW Brown), which
shifted inwards. Jockey Brown was subsequently shown the film of the
incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

Near the 800m, SMOOTHLY checked when racing to the inside of YOU DA
ONE and IMEPRIAL BOY (App CC Wong). An Inquiry into this incident will be
held at a date to be fixed.

UNSURPASSED (M Nunes) raced wide throughout.

Near the 300m, RED GENERAL (V Duric) which was giving ground had to be
eased to avoid the heels of SAVAGE STORM, which shifted inwards and away
from UNSURPASSED, which was laying inwards.

UNSURPASSED continued to lay inwards for the remainder of the race.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on RED GENERAL which
revealed that the horse returned having bled. In terms of MRA Rule 92(3), it
will not be permitted to canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any
racecourse for a period of two months, and may not start in any race for a
period of three months, and then only after having satisfactorily passed a
bleeders test.
