RACE 5 [TF0749]
CLASS 4 SC (D) 1400M

Permission was granted for Jockey N Juglall to replace Jockey A Da Silva on
JUST NAME IT as the latter was unable to make the weight. Jockey A Da
Silva was subsequently fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 107(9).

STORM TROOPER (M Nunes) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped HOT
GOLD (CW Brown).

Shortly thereafter, BIG MAN (J Powell) which had jumped outwards continued
to shift out bumping heavily with STORM TROOPER which in turn bumped
HOT GOLD out onto MAGNETISE (V Duric), resulting in that horse becoming
unbalanced and blundering.

Shortly after the start, LUCKY COIN (O Placais) shifted outwards slightly and
bumped BASTION (I Saifudin) out onto HUMDINGER (A Munro), which made
heavy contact with SUNNY (App CC Wong), resulting in that gelding bumping
the hindquarters of GREENSTONE (App I Amirul), which in turn bumped JUST

Near the 1200m, LUCKY COIN which was racing keenly was bumped by HOT
GOLD, which rolled outwards slightly.

GREENSTONE raced wide throughout.

JUST NAME IT raced wide from the 800m.

Near the 350m, STORM TROOPER, when improving, momentarily became
awkwardly placed on the heels of BIG MAN, which rolled inwards. As a result,
STORM TROOPER shifted outwards abruptly to obtain clear running.

Passing the 300m, BASTION shifted outwards and carried LUCKY COIN wider
on the track.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BIG MAN which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
