ONE MORE ACHIEVER (M Rodd) was restless in the barrier. Trainer J Peters
was advised that a warning has been placed on ONE MORE ACHIEVER
regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action
may be taken in future.
SUN DANCE (R Woodworth), which was slightly slow to begin, was crowded
shortly after the start, between GRAND SEVEN SEAS (S Anandan) and
SUPERMART (App CC Wong), which shifted outwards.
Shortly after the start, HACKER (K AIsisuhairi) momentarily steadied off the
heels of SUGARTIME JAZZ (O Chavez), which shifted outwards.
Shortly after passing the 1200m, GRAVITY (M Zaki), which was proving
difficult to settle, had to be eased when crowded between GOLD LINE (N
Juglall), which shifted inwards and SUGARTIME JAZZ, which rolled outwards.
SUGARTIME JAZZ then commenced to race keenly and had to be eased off
the heels of NATURAL NICE (V Duric) when racing tight to the inside of GOLD
Passing the 1000m, SUN DANCE was steadied when racing keenly with ONE
MORE ACHIEVER which was following, having to be eased. As a
consequence, MISS WAIMATAITAI (R Shafiq) had to be eased off the heels of
ONE MORE ACHIEVER.
KING OF THIEVES (I Saifudin) raced wide throughout.
SUGARTIME JAZZ had a tendency to lay inwards between the 400m and the
Jockey R Shafiq, the rider of MISS WAIMATAITAI, was fined a sum of S$500
under MRA Rule 152(5)(a) for dropping his whip over the concluding stages.
Jockey Anandan reported that GRAND SEVEN SEAS was not striding out
