STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 11 [TF0574]
CLASS 4 SC (B) 1400M
DIVISION 2

After arriving at the barrier, LITTLE BIG MAN (V Duric) had its saddle
readjusted.

OCEAN GENERAL (TH Koh) was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

LUCKY SIX (K AIsisuhairi) jumped awkwardly outwards.

JOBODWANA (A Munro) was hampered on jumping when GET GOING (R
Shafiq) jumped awkwardly outwards.

Shortly after the start, JOBODWANA commenced to race fiercely and proved
very difficult to settle.

Near the 1200m, JOBODWANA, which was racing keenly, checked when
racing to the inside of OPTIMUS (D Beasley) and WATER PARK (N Juglall).
An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

Near the 1000m, JOBODWANA again commenced to race fiercely and proved
very difficult to settle. JOBODWANA was then checked outwards across the
heels of MOON RIVER (S Anandan) approaching the 900m and in so doing,
carried ASPEN (App CK Ng) wider on the track.

Approaching the 400m, Jockey R Shafiq, the rider of GET GOING, dropped
his whip. He was subsequently warned that a repetition of dropping his whip
may lead to a penalty being imposed in future.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on JOBODWANA which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on OPTIMUS which
revealed that the horse returned lame near-fore. OPTIMUS will be required
to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being
declared to race again.

GENERAL

SINGAPORE FEBRUARY MEETING 2016
FRIDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 2016:

RACE 1 [TF0264]

On Thursday, 28 April 2016, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for CANNON KING (App N Alfian) falling, dislodging its rider, when
racing between READY FORTUNE (App CK Ng) on its outside and KING
SAVINSKY (R Shafiq) and SUN DANCE (R Woodworth) to its inside near the
600m. It was established that for some distance approaching the 600m,
READY FORTUNE and CANNON KING raced tightly and brushed on a number
of occasions. Near the 600m, CANNON KING was crowded for racing room
between READY FORTUNE, which rolled inwards slightly and KING SAVINSKY,
which was taken outwards slightly by SUN DANCE. As a result of the
crowding, CANNON KING clipped the heels of KING SAVINSKY and fell,
dislodging App Alfian. In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to
any rider and as such, no further action was taken.

SINGAPORE FEBRUARY MEETING 2016
SUNDAY, 28 FEBRUARY 2016:

RACE 10 [TF0298]

outwards slightly. When being checked, Jockey Chavez lost the use of his
near-side stirrup iron, which he regained shortly thereafter. In the
circumstances, having taking into account the racing manners of BRIEFNESS,
the cause of the incident was not attributed to any one rider and as such, no
further action was taken.
