RACE 9 [TF0488]
JAPAN RACING ASSOCIATION TROPHY
KRANJI STAKES C POLYTRACK 1100M

ASTROSTAR (App K Toh) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped
SUPERSONICSURPRISE (A Munro).

CLIP THE TICKET (N Juglall) began awkwardly.

SUN PIONEER (R Woodworth), which began awkwardly, was then
inconvenienced by SECRET MISSION (App CC Wong), which shifted
outwards. SUN PIONEER then shifted outwards and bumped JUSTICE DAY
(App R Firdhaus).

Approaching the 1000m, ASTROSTAR eased when crowded to the inside of
SUPERSONICSURPRISE.

Passing the 1000m, GHOST (App WS Chan) eased inwards away from the
heels of VON KRUMM (App H Syafiq), which shifted inwards.

VON KRUMM and LUMINIFF LAD (M Nunes) both raced wide throughout.

Jockey Nunes, when questioned regarding the run of LUMINIFF LAD, stated
that after being slightly slow to begin, he had to initially use his mount early
in an attempt to try and obtain a more forward position. However, he was
caught wide throughout and the gelding failed to respond to hard riding from
the 600m. His explanation was noted. LUMINIFF LAD was impounded for
routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon
reported no apparent abnormality.

All riders returned to scale an average of ½kg overweight due to the weather
conditions.
