STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 6 [TF0456]
KRANJI SPRINT LC (B) 1200M
SPORE-G3

Jockey M Nunes, the rider of KIWI KARMA, was fined a sum of S$200 for
negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he failed to ride to his
declared riding weight.

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 5, this race was put back thirty-five
minutes and rescheduled to start at 1545Hrs.

WIMBLEDON (B Vorster), which began awkwardly, shifted outwards and
bumped ZAC SPIRIT (V Duric) shortly after the start.

Shortly after the start, EL PADRINO (O Chavez), which was marginally slow
into stride, shifted outwards slightly making contact with the hindquarters of
HAPPY MONEY (K AIsisuhairi).

ZAC SPIRIT proved difficult to settle and got its head up for some distance
near the 1000m.

HAPPY MONEY raced wide throughout.

Near the 200m, KIWI KARMA momentarily steadied off the heels of EMPEROR
MAX (D Beasley), which shifted inwards under pressure.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both EL PADRINO
and GOAL KEEPER (App K Toh) which revealed no apparent abnormality.

Jockey CW Brown, when questioned regarding the run of SPALATO, stated
that whilst travelling fairly in the early and middle stages, the gelding did
change stride on a number of occasions. Thereafter, when placed under
pressure from the 600m, it disappointed and failed to run on. His
explanation was noted. SPALATO was impounded for routine veterinary
and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent
abnormality.
