STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 7 [TF0420]
MOORING 2009 STAKES
CLASS 3 SC (C) 1400M
DIVISION 1

SAND BANK (App R Firdhaus) was restless in the barrier. Trainer S Burridge
was advised that a warning has been placed on SAND BANK regarding its
barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in
future.

CHASE (R Shafiq) was slow into stride.

THESE STREETS (V Duric) and DAVINCI (D Beasley) bumped on jumping.

Approaching the 800m, VIVIANO (M Nunes) steadied to avoid the heels of
THESE STREETS, which laid inwards and away from RISKY ROCKEFELLER
(CW Brown).

After passing the 800m, CHASE, which was racing keenly, shifted outwards
after racing up onto the heels of RISKY ROCKEFELLER. This resulted in
DAVINCI, which was racing to the outside of CHASE, being bumped by
CHASE and being carried outwards.

Near the 700m, VIVIANO again steadied to avoid the heels of THESE
STREETS, which shifted inwards and away from RISKY ROCKEFELLER, which
rolled inwards slightly.

After passing the 500m, INTENSE GOLD (G Boss) was carried wider on the
track by SAND BANK, which shifted outwards when tiring.

Near the 450m, SAND BANK had to be steadied to avoid the heels of RISKY
ROCKEFELLER, which when racing greenly, shifted outwards abruptly.

Near the 100m, VIVIANO changed course outwards to obtain clear running.

Jockey Beasley, the rider of DAVINCI, was reminded of his obligations to ride
all his mounts out fully to the Finish.

The Farrier reported that THESE STREETS returned having cast its near-fore
plate.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SAND BANK which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
