STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 3 [TF0336]
CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1100M

After arriving at the barrier, BELLUS WONDER (E Chaves) had its saddle
readjusted.

EXCITING PROSPECT (M Zaki) and ELISE (A Munro) bumped on jumping.

FAITHFULLY (App T See) and LIMS CHARGE (App R Firdhaus) brushed on
jumping. Shortly after, FAITHFULLY had to be eased off the heels of BELLUS
WONDER after being carried inwards by LIMS CHARGE, which in turn had
been carried inwards slightly by KAZUO (App Z Zuriman).

ELITE STAR (M Nunes) raced keenly in the early stages.

ROYAL RULER (B Vorster) raced keenly in the early and middle stages.

SECRET SPICE (App CK Ng), which laid outwards making the turn into the
straight, continued to lay outwards over the final 200m.

Passing the 100m, ROYAL RULER checked when racing between EFFORTLESS
(M Kellady) and ELITE STAR. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a
date to be fixed.

An Objection was lodged by Jockey Vorster, the rider of second placegetter,
ROYAL RULER, against ELITE STAR, being declared the winner, on the
grounds of interference over the final 100m. After deliberation and
considering all of the evidence, the Panel of Stewards was of the opinion that
near the 100m, ELITE STAR shifted inwards, resulting in ROYAL RULER
having to be checked. However, after taking into account the alleged
interference and the manner in which both horses finished off the race, the
Panel of Stewards were of the opinion that the alleged interference had not
affected the result of the race. As such, the Objection was overruled and the
result stood.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on FAITHFULLY which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
