STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 5 [TF0092]
CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1600M
DIVISION 1

Jockey E Aslam, the rider of STREET CHAMP, was fined a sum of S$200 for
negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he failed to claim and ride
at his declared riding weight.

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 4, this race was put back thirty
minutes and rescheduled to start at 1545Hrs.

After arriving at the barrier, RON (A Da Silva) had its saddle readjusted.

LUCKY EIGHTY EIGHT (B Vorster), which began awkwardly, had to be
steadied shortly after the start when STREET CHAMP shifted outwards.

LUCKY EIGHTY EIGHT proved difficult to settle in the early and middle
stages.

RON raced wide in the early stages until assuming a position outside the
leader near the 1000m.

WONDERFUL ERA (E Chaves) and STREET CHAMP both raced wide
throughout.

WINNING STAR (A Munro) was held up and unable to obtain clear running in
the early stages of the homestraight and then shifted outwards approaching
the 300m, resulting in WONDERFUL ERA being carried wider on the track.

CLERMONT CLUB (M Nunes) was held up and unable to improve from the
500m until near the 250m.

CLERMONT CLUB laid outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.

PERFECTLY ECLIPSE (App MM Firdaus) laid inwards under pressure over the
final 100m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on GALLANT HEIGHTS
(App J See) which revealed no apparent abnormality.
