STIPE'S REPORT RACE 1 (R1528) CLASS 5  1700M PRIME RATE HANDICAP At the start, SPACE INVADER (S Thai Yang) hesitated and was slow to begin. SYCE CRACKER (App CT Lee) dipped shortly after the start. Rounding the first turn, THUNDER WIND (App S Saddam) steadied when bumped on the inside of FLYING GIFT (J De Souza). SPACE INVADER raced wide into the home straight. FLYING GIFT switched outwards for a clear run shortly after entering the home straight. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that FLYING GIFT returned having cast its off hind plate. Post-race veterinary examinations of SYCE CRACKER and KEY LARGOLD (App WT Chung) revealed no obvious abnormality. Trainer KF Wong who was not on course, will be questioned regarding the apparent reversal of form of GOOD GIFT (App M Hanif) compared to its previous run on 6th December 2015.
