STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 7 (R331) Metro C 1600M (Long Course B)

On jumping, GHOST EMPEROR (HS Gill) had to be checked by its rider when TEARS TO
DIAMONDS (J De Souza) jumped inwards and RAJAH BROOK (S Salee) jumped outwards.

Racing to the 200M, SNOW MOUNTAIN (Y Aify) shifted out under pressure and bumped
TEARS TO DIAMONDS.

Approaching the 200M, KING FAALCON (App CC Wong) had to shift in to gain a clear run
off the heels of RAJAH BROOK which was commencing to tire.

TEARS TO DIAMONDS and LUWAK COFFEE (S Mutaza) were caught racing 3 wide
throughout the event.

The Stewards questioned Jockey S Mutaza, the rider of LUWAK COFFEE, and Trainer A
Scott, the Trainer of LUWAK COFFEE, as to the disappointing performance of last start
winner, LUWAK COFFEE. Jockey S Mutaza explained that he rode to the instructions which
were to be midfield/back which was confirmed by the Stewards from the Trainers Instruction
Form., however, was caught racing 3 wide throughout the event. Jockey S Mutaza stated that
he placed the gelding under pressure in the home straight and it failed to respond to his riding.
Trainer A Scott agreed with Jockey S Mutazas comments and further stated that the gelding
may not be suited to the 1600M. She was advised to report back to the Stewards if there is
anything amiss with LUWAK COFFEE in the days subsequent. Her explanation was noted
for future reference. A post-race veterinary examination of LUWAK COFFEE revealed no
significant finding.
