STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 10 (R606) Enrich Stakes A - 1200m INSPIRATION II STAKES [SET-WEIGHTS]

GHOST STREET, which was up 28kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by
the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

IWA ANTILIA and BAZINGA which were down 17kgs and 15kgs in body weight
respectively since their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to
the race and were passed fit to start.

At the start, MAN OF SUBSTANCE (App CC Wong) and BEAUTIFUL CHOICE (K
Yazid) were a little slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, TEN SENSE WIN (Y Aify) drifted inwards, carrying STORMY
BRUCE (J Low) inwards onto LISTEN (App M Hanif).

BEAUTIFUL CHOICE and BAZINGA (S Salee) both showed no early pace.

Jockey TM Wan, the rider of IWA ANTILIA, lost the use of his rein between the 800M
and 600M.

At approximately the 700M, STORMY BRUCE steadied off the heels of IWA ANTILIA
which ran about.

LISTEN had a tendency to lay outwards rounding the turn at about the 700M and
steadied off the heels of HOHOHO (App KC Wong).

BEAUTIFUL CHOICE was carried wide into the home straight on the outside of
BAZINGA.

Post-race veterinary examinations of BEAUTIFUL CHOICE and BAZINGA revealed no
obvious abnormality. Both geldings were impounded for further veterinary and
analytical examinations.

GENERAL REPORT(S)

RACE 8 (R576) CLASS 4 1000m(sc) TRIUMPH HANDICAP
PERAK EARLY MAY MEETING SUNDAY, 3rd MAY 2015

When questioned regarding the poor performance of LA QUINTA (App AK Lim),
Trainer Evelyn Seet stated that she was very disappointed with the run. She said that LA
QUINTA was racing for the 3rd time in three weeks and in her opinion, the gelding failed
to back up and it may be feeling the strain of recent racing. She also said that the horse
had pulled up well and there is nothing amiss with LA QUINTA. She said that she gave
the same instructions as she did at the previous starts, that is to get a good jump and ride a
forward race, but the horse failed to respond. She was unable to offer any other reason
for the poor performance. Trainer Evelyn Seet was instructed that should she become
aware of anything that may have affected the horses performance, she is to notify the
Stewards.
