STIPE'S REPORT RACE 2 (R1519) Emergency acceptor, ANAK GOMBANG was withdrawn due to a capacity field. STORM KING which was up 35kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start. EXTRA POWER was slow to begin. WELSH QUEEN jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start, was bumped inwards by MIRACLE POWER which had jumped awkwardly inwards. STORM KING raced keen in the early and middle stages. TOMAHAWK laid out in the home straight, carrying SUCCESS WINNER wider in the last 100M. LEADING REQUEST ducked out under pressure in the concluding stages and finished the race wide. STORM KING which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again. Jockey S Anandan, the rider of EASTERN SUN, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of EASTERN SUN revealed no obvious abnormality. App S Ruzaini, the rider of MIRACLE POWER, reported that his horse was not striding out freely. The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that MIRACLE POWER returned cut into off hind.
