RACE 11 [TF1439]
OPEN BENCHMARK 67 1600M
NATION THEATRE (App R Firdhaus) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped
CLUTHA LAD (M Nunes).
Near the 1400m, TIP OF BORNEO (J Powell) checked when racing to the
inside of SKY ELEVEN (App WS Chan) and EAGLE STORM (A Da Silva). An
Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.
Near the 1400m, the saddle on SKY ELEVEN shifted to the off-side, resulting
in its rider becoming unbalanced.
Between the 1200m and the 800m, BRING MONEY HOME (M Zaki) and SKY
ELEVEN raced tightly and brushed on a number of occasions.
HOT GOLD (App K AIsisuhairi) raced wide throughout.
Rounding the hometurn, HOT GOLD and SEED OF SPEED (CW Brown) were
both taken wider on track by NATION THEATRE, which laid outwards.
Over the concluding stages, BRING MONEY HOME, which had been laying
inwards for the majority of the straight, shifted outwards abruptly, resulting
in its rider having to stop riding and straighten the gelding.
A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on TIP OF BORNEO
which revealed no apparent abnormality.
