STIPE'S REPORT RACE 6 [TF1323] INITIATION LC (D) 1200M DIVISION 2 Mr CH Teo, Trainer ZL Moks Assistant Trainer, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the body weight of SO SIMPLE (App R Hasri), stated that the gelding had returned from a lengthy spell and had built up significantly during this time. He added that SO SIMPLE had progressed well during training and had worked well. He also added that SO SIMPLE was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed SO SIMPLE fit to race. Trainer B Marsh was fined a sum of S$50 in terms of MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for failing to produce the correct colours on KIWI LEO (A Da Silva). KIWI LEO was slow to begin. DAMON (App CC Wong) was slow into stride after jumping away awkwardly. Passing the 1000m, PREFERRED (App R Shafiq) was buffeted for a short distance when racing between AURA DORO (M Rodd) and PRETTY ELUSIVE (App K Toh). SO SIMPLE, which raced wide, proved difficult to settle in the middle stages. Near the 800m, THE JEUNEYMAN (CW Brown) and SO SIMPLE bumped on a couple of occasions. Making the turn into the straight, THE JEUNEYMAN, which was attempting to come to the outside of AURA DORO, made contact with SO SIMPLE, resulting in that gelding becoming unbalanced and shifting inwards making further contact with THE JEUNEYMAN. DAMON had to be taken inwards across the heels of ARIO (A Munro) when attempting to obtain clear running approaching the 250m and in so doing, DAMON made contact with KIWI LEO. Shortly after, ARIO shifted outwards and away from DAMON, which shifted outwards, resulting in AURA DORO having to be eased off the heels of ARIO. The Farrier reported that DAMON returned having cast its off-fore plate. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on AURA DORO which revealed no apparent abnormality. App K AIsisuhairi who rode his 151th winner on MARK ECLIPSE will not be permitted to claim with effect from Monday, 09 November 2015.
