STIPE'S REPORT RACE 7 [TF0987] CLASS 3 POLYTRACK 1200M WONDERFUL PRINCE (M Nunes) was slow into stride. RAPIDO STAR (App TR Barnabas) and MINGS MAN (App Z Zuriman) bumped on jumping. Shortly after the start, WONDERFUL PRINCE eased to avoid the heels of SEED OF SPEED (CW Brown), which was carried outwards by MINGS MAN. Approximately 50m after the start, BEST TOTHELIGN (J Powell) and STRUBELI (App R Shafiq) both lost ground when crowded between SMART PEOPLE (O Chavez), which shifted outwards slightly and MR FANTASTIC (B Vorster), which shifted inwards. Near the 1000m, SMART PEOPLE, which was racing keenly, steadied to avoid the heels of MR FANTASTIC, which shifted inwards. SMART PEOPLE proved very difficult to settle in the middle stages. BEST TOTHELIGN and WONDERFUL PRINCE both raced wide throughout. WONDERFUL PRINCE laid outwards making the turn into the straight. Approaching the 300m, GRAVITY (M Zaki) steadied outwards to avoid the heels of RAPIDO STAR, which shifted outwards. Shortly after passing the 100m, App MM Firdaus, the rider of BOARD WALK, dropped his off-side rein, which he regained shortly thereafter. Over the concluding stages, Jockey Vorster, the rider of MR FANTASTIC, had his whip struck out of his hand when racing tight to the inside of BOARD WALK. A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on CASTOR (App T See) which revealed no apparent abnormality. SMART PEOPLE was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned not striding out freely.
