STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 6 [TF0902]
MAIDEN POLYTRACK 1200M

DOUBLE JEOPARDY (CW Brown) was slow to begin.

ABOVE THE SKYLINE (A Munro) was buffeted on jumping when crowded
between FAST JET (O Chavez), which jumped awkwardly inwards and
BONJOUR BOB (M Rodd), which jumped awkwardly outwards.

Shortly after the start, ABOVE THE SKYLINE which was racing greenly,
shifted inwards abruptly away from FAST JET and in so doing, made contact
with the hindquarters of BONJOUR BOB. BONJOUR BOB then became
unbalanced and shifted inwards making contact with THIRD PRINCE (App CC
Wong) on a number of occasions. This resulted in BONJOUR BOB becoming
extremely unbalanced and shifting inwards crowding THIRD PRINCE, which
checked and lost ground. At about the same time, ABOVE THE SKYLINE was
bumped when FAST JET shifted inwards and away from REAL HERO (App TR
Barnabas), which shifted inwards. Approximately 20m after, BONJOUR BOB
then had to be steadied off the heels of REAL HERO, which shifted inwards.
BONJOUR BOB then proved very difficult to settle.

Passing the 800m, BRAVE TIGER (I Azhar), which was racing keenly, lost
ground when racing tight between CHIPS (B Parnham) and REAL HERO,
which was carried inwards slightly by ABOVE THE SKYLINE.

NOTNOWTOMORROW (M Kellady) and FAST JET both raced wide throughout.

FAST JET hung inwards in the straight placing its rider at a disadvantage.

Jockey Azhar reported that BRAVE TIGER was making respiratory noises. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned as a
roarer and not striding out freely. The Veterinary Surgeon also advised that
BRAVE TIGER had previously undergone corrective surgery for this condition.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both THIRD PRINCE
and BONJOUR BOB which revealed no apparent abnormality.
