RACE 3 [TF0716]
OPEN BENCHMARK 67 POLYTRACK 1700M

INTENSE GOLD (App R Shafiq) was buffeted on jumping between PLATOON
(A Munro), which jumped outwards and OVER EASY (App R Firdhaus), which
jumped inwards.

SUPER JOE (B Vorster) began awkwardly.

Approaching the 1500m, BAJAN (CW Brown) got its head up for a short
distance when being restrained to avoid the heels of INTENSE GOLD, which
shifted inwards.

After passing the 1500m, NATION THEATRE (App K AIsisuhairi) steadied
when crowded to the inside of INTENSE GOLD, which was taken inwards
slightly by OVER EASY.

KAI POWER (M Kellady) raced wide throughout.

Between the 900m and the 800m, NATION THEATRE, which was racing
keenly, shifted outwards and bumped BAJAN on a number of occasions.

Near the 700m, BAJAN was taken wider on the track by NATION THEATRE,
which shifted outwards to improve on the outside of PLATOON.

Approaching the 50m, SUPER JOE checked when racing between PLATOON
and DRAGON G (App T See). An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a
date to be fixed.

At the same time, App T See, the rider of DRAGON G, dropped his near-side
rein which he regained near the Winning Post.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on VERGLATICA (M
Rodd) which revealed no apparent abnormality.
