awkwardly outwards.

Shortly after the start, IRISH REBEL (C Newitt) had to be eased off the heels
of MR FANTASTIC (B Vorster) after being carried outwards by FREE HAPPY.

BLACK SNOW (App R Zawari) and ARES (M Rodd) raced keenly in the early
stages.

Shortly after passing the 600m, BLACK SNOW lost ground after having to be
eased off the heels of MR MAGNUS (App K AIsisuhairi), which commenced to
give ground.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both IRISH REBEL
and MR MAGNUS which revealed no apparent abnormality.

GENERAL

SINGAPORE MARCH MEETING 2015
SUNDAY, 08 MARCH 2015:

RACE 1 [TF0358]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 13 May 2015, App TK
Barnabas, the rider of FUMIKO, in the presence of his Master, Trainer J
OHara, was charged with careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that
whilst riding FUMIKO in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on
Sunday, 08 March 2015, passing the 900m, he permitted his mount to shift
inwards, when not sufficiently clear of DREAMCATCHER (App R Shafiq),
resulting in DREAMCATCHER being taken inwards into and carrying FEI YUE
(J Powell) inwards, crowding EASY EASY (I Saifudin), resulting in FEI YUE
and EASY EASY having to be eased. After giving consideration to
submissions put forward by Trainer OHara in relation to the charge, and
having taken further evidence from App Shafiq, and given that near the
900m, DREAMCATCHER had improved quickly to the inside of FUMIKO, after
initially racing on the outside of that gelding, the Panel of Stewards were of
the opinion that the charge laid could not be substantiated. However, App
TK Barnabas was warned and told to exercise greater care when shifting
ground in future.
