Permission was granted for Jockey B Vorster to replace Jockey CW Brown on
TIM as the latter was unable to make the weight. Jockey Brown was
subsequently fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 107(9).

After arriving at the barrier, RORY (App J See) had its saddle readjusted.

CLIP THE TICKET (App R Shafiq) was restless in the barrier. Trainer C Brown
was advised that a warning has been placed on CLIP THE TICKET regarding
its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be
taken in future.

LIMS AFFECTION (O Chavez), which was fractious in the barrier, will be
required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

DR OCTOPUS (App CK Ng) was restless in the barrier. Trainer M Walker was
advised that a warning has been placed on DR OCTOPUS regarding its barrier
manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

TIM jumped awkwardly inwards bumping MOONBEAM DAZZLER (M Zaki) in
onto RORY, which in turn made contact with INVINCIBLE MAN (M Nunes).

DR OCTOPUS, which was slow to begin, was hampered shortly after by FAT
KIDDY (TH Koh), which shifted inwards after jumping awkwardly.

Near the 800m, FAT KIDDY, which was proving difficult to settle, eased to
avoid the heels of DR OCTOPUS, which shifted inwards.

Approaching the 500m, DR OCTOPUS got its head up when being restrained
off the heels of MOONBEAM DAZZLER.
