RACE 2 [TF0514]
RESTRICTED MAIDEN 1000M
WEIGHT FOR AGE
(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

After arriving at the barrier, FAMOUS ARTIST (M Nunes) had to have its
saddle readjusted.

ROAN RANGER (M Zaki) was slow to begin.

PREFERRED (CW Brown) was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

WE ARE GENIUS (I Saifudin) was crowded on jumping between FAST RICH
(App R Shafiq), which jumped inwards and JOE SWIPER (B Parnham), which
jumped outwards at the start.

IMPERIAL BOY (App K Toh) jumped away awkwardly and shifted inwards
making contact with IN BOCCA AL LUPO (App K AIsisuhairi) .

Shortly after the start, WE ARE GENIUS had to be steadied off the heels of
JOE SWIPER after being carried inwards slightly by FAST RICH.

RAZZOSTELLA (J Powell) and IN BOCCA AL LUPO bumped approaching the
800m.

LIMS ELUSIVE (O Chavez) made the turn into the straight wide.

Making the turn into the straight, FAST RICH was held up and had to be
steadied outwards across the heels of IMPERIAL BOY.

Approaching the 50m, JOE SWIPER fell and dislodged its rider. Jockey
Parnham was subsequently examined by the Course Medical Officer and
stood down for the remainder of the day. An Inquiry into this incident will be
held at a date to be fixed.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on RAZZOSTELLA which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that IMPERIAL BOY returned exhibiting
signs of colic and was subsequently treated.
