Trainer ZL Mok was fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 35(1) in that
he did not declare his intention to race WEOWNA FLYER (N Juglall) with
Special Plates within the prescribed time at Declarations.
Jockey S John, the rider of BEVERLY HILL, was fined a sum of S$200 for
negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in that he failed to take his
Breathalyzer Test prior to weighing out.
As there was no similar claiming rider available, the Stewards gave
permission for Jockey M Zaki to replace App T See on DOS EQUIS.
BEVERLY HILL stood flat-footed and lost ground on jumping.
GYPSY STAR (App K Toh) was slow into stride after jumping away
GODS SPEED (C Newitt) and SILENT ARROW (A Munro) bumped on jumping.
DOS EQUIS, which jumped inwards at the start, continued to lay inwards
resulting in REAL GOODMAN (App P Dellorto) being crowded and having to be
eased shortly after the start.
Shortly after passing the 1400m, BRILLIANT POWER (App K AIsisuhairi)
steadied off the heels of PEREGRINE FALCON (M Nunes), resulting in
BRILLIANT POWER making contact with the hindquarters of PURE RABID
(App Z Zuriman), which became unbalanced and was turned outwards. At
the same time, OCTIVIA (App R Rueven), which was racing keenly, shifted
inwards, thereby resulting in SILENT ARROW being crowded and losing
OCTIVIA, DOS EQUIS and RUBICON (R Woodworth) were all difficult to settle
in the backstraight.
Approaching the 1000m, PEREGRINE FALCON, which was racing keenly, had
to be eased off the heels of RUBICON.
REAL GOODMAN raced wide throughout.
The Farrier reported that PEREGRINE FALCON returned having cast its off-
