STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 [TF0390]
RESTRICTED MAIDEN SC (D) 1200M
WEIGHT FOR AGE
(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

As the start was effected, GENTLEMAN (O Chavez) stood flat-footed and lost
considerable ground.

CACTUS JACK (C Newitt) began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, THE BLACK KNIGHT (B Vorster) shifted outwards
away from JET AWAY (M Rodd) and in so doing, carried BELLY DANCE (M
Zaki) out onto MR NICHOLSON (A Munro).

Approaching the 700m, BELLY DANCE lost ground after being crowded by
OCEAN WAVE (App K AIsisuhairi), which was carried inwards by THE MYTH
(D Flores), which hung inwards. FALKIRK LEAD (R Woodworth), which was
following, was checked outwards in consequence, inconveniencing MOLLY
BROWNE (App R Shafiq) and forcing that filly wider on the track.

Passing the 500m, OCEAN WAVE shifted outwards and took THE MYTH wider
on the track.

After passing the 500m, BELLY DANCE eased when crowded to the inside of
MOLLY BROWNE, which rolled inwards slightly.

Approaching the 400m, OCEAN WAVE, which was racing greenly, steadied
outwards away from the heels of CACTUS JACK and in so doing, bumped THE
MYTH. FALKIRK LEAD, which was following, had to change course inwards.

The Farrier reported that CACTUS JACK returned having cast its near-fore
plate.

Jockey Chavez reported that GENTLEMAN was not striding out freely. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
GENTLEMAN, which stood flat-footed losing considerable ground and raced
poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a
veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
