RACE 8 [TF0296]

TOU SHOU BRIGHT (S Sam) was difficult to be loaded into the barrier.
Trainer H Takaoka was advised that a warning has been placed on TOU
SHOU BRIGHT regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve
them or action may be taken in future.

SEBAS (A Munro) jumped away awkwardly.

TOU SHOU BRIGHT and FLAMING FIREHEART (M Zaki) were both crowded on
jumping between MASTERMIND (R Woodworth) and LADY ROULETTE (YF
Leong), which jumped inwards. Shortly after, FLAMING FIREHEART had to
be steadied off the heels of ROYAL FINISH (M Rodd), which was carried
inwards by ORIENTAL PEARL (M Nunes) when that gelding was carried
inwards by DOUBLE CASH (I Saifudin), which hung inwards. DOUBLE CASH
then continued to hang inwards bumping ORIENTAL PEARL again, resulting in
ROYAL FINISH being crowded and having to be steadied.

SEBAS laid outwards making the turn into the straight.

DOUBLE CASH hung inwards in the straight placing its rider at a
disadvantage and near the 100m, was momentarily inconvenienced by
ORIENTAL PEARL, which laid inwards under pressure.

Shortly after passing the 100m, FLAMING FIREHEART eased outwards when
commencing to race tight between PIASAU GARDEN (App CK Ng) and LADY
ROULETTE, which laid inwards when giving ground.

The Farrier reported that ROYAL FINISH returned having cast its near-fore

Jockey Woodworth, the rider of MASTERMIND, reported that the horse had
returned with its saddle having shifted back during the race. This was
subsequently confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon.
