RACE 4 [TF0188]
KRANJI STAKES D LC (A) 1600M

After arriving at the barrier, TAKEOVER (M Nunes) had its saddle readjusted.

CHEETAH KING (N Juglall) was restless in the barrier. Trainer L Khoo was
advised that a warning has been placed on CHEETAH KING regarding its
barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in
future.

FLYING AHEAD (D Flores) jumped outwards at the start making contact with
PINT SIZED PRINCE (J Powell).

HIPPO PROSPERO (B Vorster), which was slow to begin, had to be steadied
off the heels of SWIFT (App T See) shortly after the start when that gelding
shifted outwards.

TAKEOVER was difficult to settle in the backstraight.

LETS TALK NOW (A Munro) raced wide from the 800m.

JIM (App A Syahir) had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the early part of the
straight.

Passing the 200m, App Syahir, the rider of JIM, dropped his whip. He was
subsequently warned that a repetition of dropping his whip may lead to a
penalty being imposed in future.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BREAKING VAULTS
(C Newitt) which revealed that the horse returned with an upper airway
obstruction. BREAKING VAULTS will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial
and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.
