STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 3 (R1179) Metro C 1400M (lc-A)

The Stewards questioned Jockey G Cheyne, the rider of THE MILLIONAIRE, as to that
geldings performance today. Jockey G Cheyne confirmed his instructions were to be mid to
back which were confirmed by the Stewards from the Trainers Instruction Form, and the
Trainers representative had also confirmed the change in tactics to ride the gelding back to get
it to finish its race off. Jockey G Cheyne stated that he was able to carry out his instructions
although THE MILLIONAIRE did get back further than anticipated. He further stated that the
gelding travelled well and on entering the straight, he commenced to ride with the whip and
the gelding finished the race off fairly. His explanation was noted. A post-race veterinary
examination of THE MILLIONAIRE revealed no significant finding.

The Stewards questioned Jockey HS Gill, the rider of INDIAN ROCK as to that geldings
performance today. Jockey HS Gill confirmed his instructions were to be midfield which were
confirmed by the Stewards from the Trainers Instruction Form. He stated that the gelding had
a tendency to lay out in its races as it did today, and that in the straight when placed under
pressure, INDIAN ROCK finished the race off fairly. His explanation was noted. The Club
Veterinary Surgeon reported that INDIAN ROCK returned with a cut on the commisure of the
mouth. The gelding will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being
declared to race again.

The Stewards questioned Trainer D Murphy, the Trainer of ITS DONE MATE (J Low) as to
that geldings improved performance today. He stated that the only explanation he could offer
was that the gelding was better suited on the yielding ground and that it had been working
well but it still surprised the stable on its performance today.
