before the start.

Light rain fell during the running of this race.

MAGIC BABY (K Eirwan) was slowly away.

Shortly after the start, GRAND SHOW (I Azhar) was crowded for room between
HALO INSPIRE (M Wepner) and MORE THAN WORDS (CK Tan) which was
taken inwards by NINETYFIVE POWER which rolled inwards.

Near the 800M, RIGHT TIMING (M Razali) steadied off the heels of NINETYFIVE
POWER .

GRAND SHOW shifted outwards abruptly when being struck with the whip over the
concluding stages.

Jockey CK Tan, the rider of MORE THAN WORDS reported that his mount was
making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of MORE THAN
WORDS revealed no obvious abnormality.

When questioned regarding HALO INSPIRE missing the start, Jockey M Wepner
stated that his mount stood flat-footed when the gates opened and lost considerable
ground. His explanation was noted. Due to its adverse history, HALO INSPIRE
will be required to pass two starting stall tests at weekly intervals after a one-month
embargo before being declared to race again. A post-race veterinary examination of

revealed no obvious abnormality. MAGIC BABY and FORGIVEN which both raced

will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry today, App KC Tham, the rider of LUCK SUCCESS
in the presence of his master, Trainer Nor Azman pleaded guilty to a charge of
careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding LUCK SUCCESS
near the 250M, he made insufficient effort to stop and straighten his mount from
shifting outwards when insufficiently clear of WHY LIKE THAT, thereby causing
that mare to check and lose ground.

When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account App KC Thams guilty
plea, his riding record and mitigating factors. App KC Thams licence to ride in races
was suspended for a period of three (3) race days to take effect from Monday, 19th
May 2014 and to expire on Sunday, 25th May 2014, both dates inclusive. He was
advised of his right of appeal (5.53pm).
