HEART BY HEART, a course scratching as it had sustained a bruised off fore foot, will
be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
At the start, EPIC ENCOUNTER (S Salee) was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, WIN MILLION (App KC Tham) shifted out and TIME TO
SHINE (Y Aify) shifted in, crowding LUCK DRAGON (M Wepner) and GOOD
VIBRATIONS (J Low) for room. GOOD VIBRATIONS had to steady in this incident.
Passing the 1100M crossing, the hind quarters of MOGANS PRIDE (H Barnabas) were
bumped by LUCK DRAGON and became unbalanced.
Near the 900M, TRIPLE ONE DBEST laid in.

PRIDE respectively, reported that their mounts were not striding out freely. Post-race

Post-race veterinary examinations of SILVERON WARRIOR (K Eirwan) and EPIC
ENCOUNTER revealed no obvious abnormality. SILVERON WARRIOR which raced
poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
When questioned regarding the performance of TRIPLE ONE DBEST, Jockey J De
Souza stated that he was instructed to ride a forward race and settle him in 3rd /4th
position which was the same instruction when the colt won its last start. He stated that
after riding a forward race, his mount shifted inwards near the 1000M, anticipating the
short course, obliging its rider to stop and straighten. He said thereafter, TRIPLE ONE
DBEST struggled to keep up with the pace and in the home straight, when he asked for
an effort, his mount shifted outwards under pressure and failed to run on. His
explanation was noted.
