STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 10 [TF1534]
LONGINES SINGAPORE GOLD CUP 2200M
SPORE-G1

CITY LAD (I Santana) was crowded on jumping between LIZARRE (B Vorster)
and TROPAIOS (T Berry), which jumped awkwardly inwards.

MARTIN (I Saifudin) was crowded on jumping between GOLIATH (App K
AIsisuhairi) and FLAX (M Du Plessis), which was bumped outwards by
STEPITUP (D Flores), which jumped awkwardly outwards.

Shortly after passing the 2000m, WILD GEESE (A Munro) steadied inwards
away from the heels of WAR AFFAIR (D Beasley), which shifted inwards.

WAR AFFAIR, which raced keenly in the early stages, raced wide throughout.

Near the 1900m, MARTIN and VALBUENA (I Azhar) bumped, resulting in
VALBUENA then commencing to overrace. VALBUENA then had to be
steadied away from the heels of CHEETAH ON FIRE (L Allpress), which rolled
inwards.

WAR AFFAIR raced wide throughout.

APPROACHING the 1000m, MARTIN was crowded to the inside of FLAX, which
dipped and shifted inwards.

STEPITUP, which raced wide throughout, laid outwards from the 800m and in
so doing, carried WAR AFFAIR wider on the track.

Jockey CW Brown, the rider of QUECHUA, was fined a sum of S$500 for
making a celebratory gesture prior to the Finish in terms of MRA Rule 44(12).

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on WAR AFFAIR which
revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.
