DIVISION 2

RED RIVER ROCK (CW Brown) jumped awkwardly inwards at the start
severely crowding PEGASUS VICTORY (App TK Barnabas) in onto LET'S TALK
NOW (D Beasley), which in turn crowded GOLDEN ROSEWOOD (App J See),
which then shifted inwards severely inconveniencing WINNER'S SMILE (S
John). This resulted in PEGASUS VICTORY and WINNER'S SMILE both losing
ground.

PEGASUS VICTORY raced wide in the early stages.

WINNER'S SMILE hung outwards over the final 200m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on STAR ACADEMY (M
Ewe) which revealed no apparent abnormality.

App TK Barnabas, when questioned regarding the run of PEGASUS VICTORY,
stated that he was crowded and bumped on jumping, thereby losing ground.
He further stated that he was then caught wide early and elected to come
back in an attempt to gain a position closer to the rail. After obtaining a
position near the rail, he allowed his mount to balance up after making the
turn into the straight. PEGASUS VICTORY then ran on only fairly when
placed under pressure. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary
examination was requested on PEGASUS VICTORY which revealed no
apparent abnormality.
