STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 8 [TF489]
JRA TROPHY POLYTRACK 1100M
CLASS 2

Prior to the start, PETRENUI (D Beasley) was examined by the Veterinary
Surgeon and passed fit to race.

SUPERNOVA (App Z Zuriman) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped
PETRENUI.

FLASH GIFT (D Flores) proved difficult to settle in the early stages.

After passing the 900m, MY SON (App R Rueven), which was overracing and
proving difficult to settle, had to be steadied for a number of strides when
awkwardly placed close to the heels of LETS SEE ACTION (B Vorster). When
being steadied, MY SON shifted inwards and crowded VALEVOLE (V Leal). MY
SON continued to prove difficult to settle for some distance thereafter.

VALEVOLE hung outwards from the 800m to the 400m.

Shortly after passing the 200m, FLASH GIFT was taken inwards by GOLDEN
SAND STEED (App R Shafiq), which shifted inwards under pressure.

The Farrier reported that ITALIAN JOB (I Santana) returned having cast its
off-fore plate.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that MY SON and LETS SEE ACTION both
returned having cuts on their near-fore and off-hind legs respectively.

Jockey Beasley reported that PETRENUI was not striding out freely. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
