STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 [TF388]
RESTRICTED MAIDEN 1000M
WEIGHT FOR AGE
(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

Trainer L Dragon was fined a sum of S$50 in terms of MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for
failing to produce the correct colours on LIVELY DRAGON (J Powell).

Jockey Powell, the rider of LIVELY DRAGON, was dislodged enroute to the
barrier. LIVELY DRAGON then galloped riderless for some distance prior to
being captured. LIVELY DRAGON was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon
and passed fit to race.

TIME AFTER TIME (I Saifudin) began awkwardly and lost ground.

ANAK CARABAO (App J See) was slow into stride.

OVERPOWER (M Suhaimi) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped LIVELY
DRAGON.

Approaching the 800m, SHOW CLASS (M Au) steadied to avoid the heels of
ASTROHEAT (M Zaki), which shifted inwards.

EL VERDUGO (O Chavez) and SHOW CLASS both laid outwards and raced
wide from the 800m.

TIME AFTER TIME and ANAK CARABAO showed no early pace despite the
urgings of their riders.

Making the turn into the straight, OVERPOWER was held up on the heels of
SPEEDY KID (YF Leong).

EL VERDUGO raced greenly in the straight.

Prior to the correct weight being declared, Jockey D Beasley, the rider of
NINETYSIX CHAMP, requested to view the race video with a view to
considering lodging an objection After viewing the video, Jockey Beasley
believed that there was insufficient grounds to lodge the objection and the
All Clear was declared.
