STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 11 [TF221]
CLASS 4 SC (C) 1400M

Acting on veterinary advice that WAR LORD (App T See) was found to have
lost a shoe and was unable to be reshod without being sedated, the Panel of
Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1300Hrs. In terms of MRA Regulation
24.2, it must be presented to an Official Veterinary Surgeon prior to being
declared to race again.

SMILESWITHHISEYES (App R Shafiq) began awkwardly.

GOLD DANCER (B Vorster) shifted outwards at the start making contact with
FRANCES (CW Brown).

Shortly after the start, WILKINSON (L Allpress) steadied off the heels of THE
OMEGA MAN (M Nunes), which shifted inwards.

Shortly after making the turn into the straight, GOLD DANCER had to be
eased when awkwardly placed on the heels of THE OMEGA MAN.

SMILESWITHHISEYES raced in restricted room over the concluding stages
between FRANCES and THE OMEGA MAN, which shifted outwards under
pressure.

Jockey Brown reported that FRANCES was not striding out freely. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on GAZOO (J Powell)
which revealed no apparent abnormality.

All riders returned to scale an average of ½kg overweight due to the weather
conditions.
