STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 6 (R1515) CLASS 4 1200m(lc) THE BEST IN TOWN-1994 HANDICAP

HAWKER CENTRE which was up 35kgs in body weight since its last run, was
checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

On jumping, CASPER (App M Ganeesh) was crowded for room between TEEN
ANGEL (App Z Khairil) which was taken outwards by PIED PIPER (WK Yan)
which jumped awkwardly outwards and VIBRANT SPIRIT (A Kumar) which jumped
awkwardly inwards. CASPER lost ground in this incident.

HERE COMES THUNDER (Lou Ho) was slowly away and thereafter, commenced to
race keenly and was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.

App Z Khairil, the rider of TEEN ANGEL reported that his mount was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of BLACK ARROW (L Sofhan) revealed no
obvious abnormality.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that SEA BUTTERFLY (J Low) returned
having cast its near fore plate.

When questioned regarding the performance of PRIME MOVER, Jockey J Shankar
stated that he was instructed to get a good jump and lead, however, in the early stages
of the race, his mount was racing ungenerously and was unable to lead as instructed
due to the geldings action and raced further back than anticipated. He further stated
that PRIME MOVER kept racing ungenerously and dipped on numerous occasions
and felt that PRIME MOVER did not handle the track condition today and he elected
to ease his mount down in the straight, as he felt that there was something amiss with
the gelding. His explanation was noted. A post-race veterinary examination of
PRIME MOVER revealed no obvious abnormality. PRIME MOVER which raced
poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.
