STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 2 [TF1029]
RESTRICTED MAIDEN 1100M
WEIGHT FOR AGE
(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

Trainer D Kok was fined a sum of S$50 in terms of MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for
failing to produce the correct colours on ENGLISH DREAM (I Santana).

SURE WIN (M Nunes), which was fractious in the barrier, will be required to
pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in terms of
MRA Rule 78(2).

BLACK FURY (App WL Tan), LUMINESCENCE (M Suhaimi) and MASTER
DRAGON (M Zaki) were all restless in the barriers.

MASTER DRAGON was slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.

LUMINESCENCE, which was slow into stride, hung inwards badly in the early
stages.

ENGLISH DREAM was carried outwards slightly by DRAGON FORCE (D
Beasley), resulting in it having to be eased when awkwardly placed on the
heels of SALUTE (App T Rehaizat), which jumped inwards at the start.

ENGLISH DREAM commenced to hang outwards badly shortly after the start,
resulting in the bit pulling through the near-side of its mouth. This placed its
rider at a severe disadvantage and the gelding hung outwards finishing the
race extremely wide. ENGLISH DREAM will be required to pass a 1000m
gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior to being
declared to race again.

SURE WIN raced keenly in the early stages.

PERFECT CHALLENGER (S John) hung outwards making the turn into the
straight.

The Farrier reported that ENGLISH DREAM and SURE WIN both returned
having cast their off-hind and off-fore plates respectively.

Jockey Nunes, the rider of SURE WIN, reported that his horse was making
respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on ENGLISH DREAM
which revealed that the horse returned with a cut on its off-hind.
