GLOBAL CAST (S John), was difficult to be loaded. Trainer S Chua was
advised that a warning has been placed on GLOBAL CAST regarding its
barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in
MARSHALLETTE (B Vorster), which was restless the barrier, was taken out,
examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded.
Trainer P Shaw was advised that a warning has been placed on

ZAC FLAMBOYANT (G Cheyne), was slow into stride after jumping away
awkwardly. Trainer M Walker was advised that a warning has been placed on
ZAC FLAMBOYANT regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to

LUCKY LION (D Beasley) jumped outwards at the start carrying LIGHTNING
WHEELS (A Munro) out onto GANGNAM STYLE (App WL Tan), which in turn
bumped GLOBAL CAST out onto OM (J Moreira) which had to be eased off the
heels of ITALIAN JOB (M Nunes).
Shortly after the start, MARSHALLETTE had to be eased when crowded to the
inside of GOLIATH (D Bonilla).
MARSHALLETTE raced greenly in the backstraight and had a tendency to
hang outwards making the turn into the straight.
Passing the 800m, LIGHTNING WHEELS which commenced to race keenly
had to be eased after racing up onto the heels of GANGNAM STYLE.
Approaching the turn into the straight, OM was held up and had to be eased
when racing in restricted room. Shortly after, OM again had to be eased after
getting up onto the heels of GLOBAL CAST. MARSHALLETTE, which was
following also had to be eased.
App WL Tan, the rider of GOLIATH, reported that his horse was not striding
out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent
