STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 1 [TF848]
CLASS 5 LC (D) 1600M
DIVISION 2

THE REAL THING (J Saimee) began awkwardly and lost ground.

LOYALTYS PARTNER (I Saifudin) was slow to begin and showed no early pace.

Approaching the 1500m, INCREDIBLE HULK (O Chavez) and GOLD POOL (E Aslam) both raced tight to the inside of FAIRY KING DANE (R Woodworth), which was bumped inwards by TWELFTH AVENUE (E Legrix). LION CITY KINGKONG (App M Ewe), which was overracing, was hampered in consequence. LION CITY KINGKONG got its head up on a number of occasions whilst continuing to overrace in the early and middle stages.

Passing the 200m, THE REAL THING had to be eased when momentarily crowded to the inside of FAIRY KING DANE, which laid inwards and GOLD POOL, which shifted outwards away from the heels of TWELFTH AVENUE when attempting to improve.

App A Feiruz, the rider of SIR ED, reported that the geldings saddle slipped back in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon subsequently confirmed that SIR ED had returned with its saddle having shifted backwards.

BIG OCCASION (D Chong), which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being entered to race again.

KINGPIN (B Vorster) was impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.
