STIPE'S REPORT RACE 5 (R751) BRILLIANT TYCOON, a course scratching as it was found to have a fever, will be required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again. Emergency acceptor, ACE ALLTHEWAY was withdrawn due to a capacity field. The Stewards permitted Jockey I Saifudin to replace Jockey N Callow on DASHING SPIRIT. BLESSWITHTALENT which was restless in the barrier, was a little slow to begin. KYRON raced keen in the early and middle stages. JERAM GALAXY was obliged to race wide on the bend. Post-race veterinary examinations of ROUSING SNOW and BLESSWITHTALENT revealed that both geldings were lame off fore and as such will each be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again. ROUSING SNOW and BLESSWITHTALENT were impounded. At the conclusion of an Inquiry today, Jockey C Goon, the rider of BAJA KING, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BAJA KING in this race, he permitted his mount to shift in at approximately the 75M mark when insufficiently clear of ROUSING SNOW causing that horse to be checked inwards onto KYRON which in turn was carried in onto SHAKING HEAVEN. Jockey C Goon was suspended from riding in races for a period of three (3) race days with effect from 15th June 2009 and to expire on 26th June 2009, both days inclusive. He was advised of his Right of Appeal (3:15pm).
