STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 3 (R1310) Class 4 1600M (lc)
TAIPING LAKE GARDENS HANDICAP

DAHLGREN which was down 15kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by
the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

Acting on a report from the Starter that YEHLAISIANG which stood flat-footed and lost
considerable ground and in view of its previous adverse history, will be required to pass 2
tests (2 starting stalls at weekly intervals) before being entered to race again.

GEORGIE BOY (J Shankar) was slow into stride and showed no early pace despite being
urged along.

DAHLGREN (WK Yan) fly-jumped, was slowly away and raced wide throughout the
race.

LIBERATION SPIRIT (J De Souza) and CARBON COPY (M Wepner) both raced wide
on the first turn.

MASTER JIANGMEN (BN Shahrul) was inclined to lay outwards in the back straight.

VALENTINE BABY drifted outwards under pressure over the concluding stages of the
race.

Post-race veterinary examinations of ALL GOOD and GEORGIE BOY revealed no
obvious abnormality.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that BLACK SUPREME returned having cast its
off fore plate.

After taking initial evidence from Jockey K Eirwan, the rider of SUBORDINATE, and
Trainer K Coetzee, the trainer of SUBORDINATE, the Stewards will be opening an
inquiry into the riding of SUBORDINATE at a date to be fixed. A post-race veterinary
examination of SUBORDINATE revealed no obvious abnormality.
