RACE 2 (R1280) Class 5 1600M (lc)
DUTCH FORT HANDICAP

PERHAPS, a course scratching as it had sustained bruising to its near hind sole, will be
required to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

HEART BY HEART, a course scratching as it was found to have fever, will be required
to undergo a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

MID SUN (App KY Yap) dislodged its rider on the way to the start and ran a
considerable distance before being apprehended. Acting on veterinary grounds, MID
SUN was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 2:10pm. The gelding will be required to
pass a test (starting stall, to be ridden unaided to the start) before being entered to race
again.

FROM ZERO (App KK Khoo) jumped awkwardly.

AMARO UNO (J Chuah) fly-jumped and was slowly away.

GIFTS DAWAN (App H Haswindy) and EMPEROR QIAN LONG (Lou Ho) were both
slowly away.

IRON EYES (App M Razali) was slowly away and showed no early pace.

GOOD GIFT (App BN Kumar) and RED CLIFF (J Low) both raced wide on the first
turn.

Near the 1200M, LAUGH HEARTILY (I Azhar) steadied off the heels of AMARO UNO
which commenced to race keenly and was running about.

Near the 1000M, LAUGH HEARTILY steadied when crowded for room between
AMARO UNO which continued to race keenly and run about, and GOOD GIFT which
rolled inwards.

Post-race veterinary examinations of LAUGH HEARTILY, RED CLIFF and IRON
EYES revealed no obvious abnormality.
