STIPE'S REPORT
RACE 6 [TF1174]
CLASS 3 SC (A) 1400M

RUNNING TALL (B Vorster) was crowded on jumping between MATTERHORN
(I Santana) and GOODPACK (J Moreira).

Passing the 1100m, WHITE COFFEE (D Beasley) brushed the running rail
after shifting inwards and away from BLACK RAIN (S Baster).

MATTERHORN raced wide without cover throughout.

BLACK RAIN raced keenly in the middle stages.

Passing the 300m, MAKKURA (G Cheyne), which was laying inwards, clipped
the heels of MEAISIN (A Munro), which rolled outwards slightly, blundered
and lost ground. In this incident, Jockey Cheyne lost the use of his rein and
dropped his whip.

Jockey Baster will be questioned regarding the run of BLACK RAIN.

Jockey S John, the rider of BORN TO FLY, reported that his horse was not
striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the
horse returned having debris in its trachea.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on BLACK RAIN which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
